Absolutely no corners were cut during this awesome Chevelles restoration. At the front of the car, a timeless Chevrolet split grille hangs correct Chevelle and SS emblems between a full chrome bumper and correct stainless trimmed T3 headlights which reflect the sun and light up the night. Above that grille, factory hood pins combine with a functional cowl induction system and correct 454 emblems, to give the car an aggressive, race-ready appearance. And great looking factory optioned drip rails combine with well-maintained stainless trim to highlight like-new windows. At the sides of the car, a chrome drivers side mirror looks great above stainless wheel well moldings and chrome GM door handles. And behind the front tires, white SS emblems with red 454 inlays let everyone know just how serious this Chevelle is. At the back of the car, a full bumper frames a nice black Super Sport insert which is anchored by a pair of crystal clear tail light lenses. Power comes from the cars original, numbers matching 454 cubic inch LS6 V8 which was underrated from the factory at a very impressive 450 horsepower. Fully restored and ready to hit the show field, the Chevy Orange block wears a correct 3963512 casting number, a March 4th (4) of 1970 (70) date code, a correct CRV (454/4-barrel/M22) suffix stamp and a correct 0K184387 partial VIN. At the top of the engine, a correctly decaled air cleaner filters wind from a functional cowl induction system into a correct Holley carburetor and a correct Winter intake. At the sides of that intake, mirror-like valve covers loom correct Packard TV R Suppression wires between correct factory decals and fully restored exhaust manifolds. At the back of the engine youll find a correct points distributor beside a fresh wiper motor and a like-new brake booster; and at the front of the engine, a correct radiator utilizes reproduction hoses and correct tower clamps to pipe water past a correct smog pump and a correct 37A alternator. Naturally, the cars satin black engine bay is fully detailed and ready for show from its tagged Delco Energizer battery to its factory replacement washer fluid tank. And all belts, hoses and soft parts are in excellent condition and ready to hit the road.

The theme of better than new also extends underneath the car where youll find fresh floors and a highly detailed chassis. Behind the stout big block, a correct M22 rock crusher 4-speed, which wears a 3925661 (1970) casting number and a P0B20C date stamp that decodes as a Muncie (P) M22 built on February (B) 20th (20) of 1970 (0), sends power to a 12 bolt Posi-traction rear end with easy driving 3.31 gears. Holding that killer drivetrain off the ground is a completely restored F41 double A-arm front and four link rear suspension that is equipped with a manual steering rack, correct sway bars, correctly tagged coil springs and correct spiral shocks. The power front disc, rear drum brake system has been fully rebuilt from its rotors all the way to its lines; and the cars restored manifolds dump gases into a factory replacement exhaust system which includes mandrel bent pipes and correct rear mounted resonators. The cars frame, free of any major damage, is painted black to match the cars good looking black floor boards and in keeping with the 454 up top, much attention has been paid to making sure everything is clean and ready to go. At the corners, correctly painted Super Sport wheels wear F70-14 Firestone Wide Oval tires that look right at home in this Chevelles big wheel wells.

Take a look inside this Chevelle and youll find a like-new Medium Blue Metallic interior, which feels good and looks great! The front and rear bench seats were rebuilt with fresh foam and new seat covers, show no virtually wear at all, and really stand out above the cars dark blue carpet and fresh rubber floor mats. At the sides of that intake, correct cylinder heads wear distinctive chrome valve covers with correct 409 Turbo Fire decals; and below that intake, a correct solid lift cam gives the car a brawny, stoplight shaking idle. At the back of the engine, a correct points distributor sends power from a correct coil to AC Delco Packard TV R Suppression wires. And at the sides of the engine, correct factory exhaust manifolds sit behind a correctly tagged Delco-Remy generator which spins on a fresh V-belt. In front of the engine, a heavy duty four core radiator sits beside a correct reproduction Delco yellow top battery and circulates water through fresh black hoses. Behind that professionally rebuilt big block V8 is a correct Borg Warner T-10 4-speed transmission which wears a correct T10 brand and an early 3782212 casting number. That unbreakable transmission sends power to a correctly tagged Posi-traction rear end which is stuffed with earthquake inducing 4.00 Richmond gears and held off the ground by a fully rebuilt double A-arm front and three link rear suspension. Braking is handled by factory correct manual drums at each corner, steering comes courtesy of a correct manual rack; and exhaust flows through a true dual factory replacement system which is complete with polished down pipes, aluminized tail pipes and new, great sounding mufflers. Above the suspension rust free floorpans are sprayed in satin black paint and all lines, hoses, brackets and fasteners, which were completely replaced at the time of restoration, show little to no weathering. And at the corners of the car, black 14 inch steel wheels wear stainless Chevrolet hubcaps inside of 7.75-14 US Royal Safety 800 redline tires which do their very best to keep the tall 4.00 gears happy.

Above those seats, a tight red headliner is stretched between mirror-like chrome pillar covers; and below those seats, like-new red carpet is protected by heavy duty rubber floor mats. At the front of the car, a body-matched dash holds a horizontal speedometer, a fuel gauge and a temperature gauge above thin stainless trim and chrome knobs for the cars accessories. And at the sides of the car, simple red door panels are detailed with new red armrests and new chrome handles. Mounted in the center of the dash is a correct radio delete, and mounted to the side of the red steering column is a cool chrome Sun Tach which looks so natural that most casual observers will think its an OEM piece. Connecting the driver to the road is a correct Biscayne steering wheel which is centered on a flashy, multi-dimensional horn button, and a chrome spaghetti shifter which does a great job of sliding a white cue ball shift knob around the cars bench seat. At the back of the car, a fully restored trunk features correct spatter paint, correct trunk mats and a correct spare tire on a correctly painted wheel.
