Accommodations/Walkthrough
Forward are the crew quarters which include two staterooms, one head with shower, and a lounge/dining area. There is storage below the deck and a companionway to the main deck. Internal access is through a watertight door to the guest stateroom foyer. Included are laundry, refrigerator, stereo, TV and DVD for crew use. Two guest staterooms are on the same level, but aft of the watertight bulkhead from the crew quarters. Each stateroom has twin beds and private head with stall shower. Access to the guest quarters is via a stairway down from the forward salon to a foyer that features a restored U.S. Navy "Z-Door", two art walls, and a skylight. The forward salon is on the main deck above the guest quarters, and includes entertainment center, dining area with L-shaped sofa, dining table and two dining chairs. The entertainment equipment is housed in a cabinet on the starboard side of the stairs and a crystal cabinet is on the portside of the stairs. The fully equipped stainless steel galley is on the portside just forward of the aft salon and is separated from the main companionway and stairs to the bridge by a Lexan curved wall. With a powder room just aft of the entrance to the galley. There is deck access to the port deck through a sliding door in the galley, and on the starboard side through a sliding door in the companionway. The main salon, which has been recently redecorated, includes a main seating area, wet bar with crystal cabinet in the corner, and a doorway into the galley. On the way adjacent to the bar is a high definition plasma screen, which is above the stairs leading down to the master suite. The aft deck has a lounge and dining area, stairs down to the hydraulic swim platform, and stairs to the boat deck. The full width owner's suite with King sized bed features two cedar lined closets, built in drawers, and an entertainment system with HDTV, DVD, CD, SAT TV (U.S., Canada, and S. America) and VHS. On the portside leading aft is a marble bathroom with enclosed toilet, large glass enclosed shower with a steamer, and a double whirlpool bath. On the portside there is a utility room which provides laundry facilities, large built in Traulsen freezer, and lots of storage area for cruising supplies. A watertight door from the utility room leads to the engine room. The fully instrumented raised pilothouse has a large settee with storage underneath, a navigation area with backlit chart table, and an office area. From the pilothouse there is access to the port and starboard wing stations, fly bridge stationsand also to the boat deck. On the boat deck, which is accessed via the wheelhouse or the aft deck stairs, is tender storage, crane, a bar area with icemaker and bar fridge an L-shaped settee and table lounge seating on both the port and starboard side and on the aft end of the pilothouse a head with shower. All outside decks are teak. The interior decks are maple or carpet.

Remarks
Designed by the legendary Glade Johnson with naval architecture and engineering by Guido Perla. SHANA was painstakingly built by Workboats Northwest who were renowned for building tough aluminum vessels for the brutal Alaskan fisheries industry. With correct and proper engineering, big ship systems, and excellent quality of construction, SHANA has proven herself cruising from Alaska to Panama to New England. Without a doubt she is a yacht of substance, this rugged yet precise vessel is capable of real offshore use. In 1991 she was featured in "The Superyachts" (Volume 5) and was also a recipient of The Superyacht Society Design Award for the best motor yacht over 23m. In 2007 SHANA underwent an extensive refit at Knight & Carver's facility in San Diego. The work completed included a full Sterling paint job as well as several engineering upgrades. At 10 knots she has a 3000 mile range, and at 12 knots her range is 2500. This vessel is actively cruising and will continue to be loved and maintained in excellent condition until sold. In Spring 2009, both main engines and gensets underwent a complete major overhaul.
