Description
Silver with Black leather interior, Red carpeting and Black convertible top, Matching Numbers, Original Color combination, Documented by Ferrari Historian Marcel Massini, 72,000 kilometers from new, The 35th of 100 manufactured, Borrani wire wheels.
Introduced at the 1966 Paris Auto Show, the 330 GTS was and remains to this day among the most attractive open-topped Ferrari's ever, none of the Coupe’s elegance having been lost in translation. After 600 GTC's and only 100 Spyder's, Ferrari discontinued production in late 1968.
This 330 GTS was completed at the Ferrari factory in May 1967. It was delivered new to Milan’s official Ferrari dealer Gastone Crepaldi S.A.S. where it soon found its first owner. Within the next few years the car was exported to the US and, by the 1970s, was owned by Mr. Victor Williams in Northern California. The car remained in the Bay Area throughout the next two decades and was shown in the 1983 International Ferrari Concours.
A Japanese collector owned the car for several years during the late 1980s then, in 1997, the car appeared in Los Angeles, California. At the time, it was still in largely original condition, wearing its factory delivered silver paint and black interior, and showing 66,900 original kilometers, approximately 42,000 miles. During most of the last decade, this 330 GTS was in the care of a Ferrari collector. In 2004 its owner had the interior and exterior completely restored in its original combination. Having been owned to date by Ferrari enthusiasts and collectors, mechanically, this 330 GTS is in superb, well maintained and detailed condition throughout. It has always been well cared for when and wear needed to keep in top form. The chassis, suspension and undercarriage are also in exceptional condition and detailed well.
This example is extremely low mileage for its age, has been serviced thoroughly and properly and drives exactly as a 330 GTS should.
