History of Car
Imported from America in 1989. The car had done 94,392 miles and had spent a lot of the time off the
road. It was sold July 1996 to a Corvette enthusiast who wanted to restore it back to its original
splendour. At this time it had done 99,700 miles.
The car was completely dismantled and the body taken off of the chassis in August 1996. It was
restored over a period of 18 months below is a list of the restoration.

The Car was put back on the road in June 1997. In that same year it was taken to The Corvette
Owners Club and won Best of Show. It also won at the next two shows. It covered 4319 miles since
the total restoration. It was then sold again in October 2002.
For the next six years it covered 3000 miles and was stored in a special centrally heated garage and
only taken to shows or the occasional day out.

A specialist serviced the car by take the engine out of the car, strip it and rebuild it, replacing any parts that needed to change but only to use proper restoration Corvette parts.
