Description
This Resto Mod Impala started out as a good original car. The owner planned to "clean it up" and get it back out on the road ASAP. Well, he got a little carried away and after 2 1/2 years of sweat equity and a LARGE pile of cash, this is what emerged! The car was completely disassembled - every single nut and bolt - down to the bare frame. Every part was blasted and painted individually. The top was chopped two inches. The stock 283 was completely rebuilt and mated to a 350 Turbo transmission. The car rides on 2" drop spindles. Other modern upgrades include power steering, disk brakes, side french scoops, and raised deck lid to accomodate the custom rear facia with LEDs. Other styling details unique to the Impala are modified '59 and '60 front and rear bumpers, custom grill, remote solenoid triggered doors and trunk, California Mirrors, and stainless steel exhaust. The tweed interior with a touch of lemon is breathtaking! The front bucket seats are very comfortable with the driver's side featuring power adjustments. An Ididit tilt steering column and LOKAR shifter finish off the interior.
