Very nice first year example Thunderbird. It is finished in original Ford Torch Red with matching red and white interior. The engine is 292c.i. V-8 mated to a Ford-O-Matic transmission. Because it came with the automatic, this bird gets a 5hp bump to 198 and a slight bump in compression to 8.5:1, up from 8.1:1. Options on this car include Fords "Master Guide Power Steering", power windows and power seat. It also comes with full wheel covers and white wall tires. Except for the in dash AM/FM cass radio, this car looks just as it did on the showroom floor 56 years ago. This car runs and drives excellent, the shifts are very sharp and the power steering is just great for parking! This car would make a fine addition to any collection and you can still take it out and enjoy this beautiful classic!.
