ENGLISH: The Duesenberg Motor Company was originally founded by the German born brothers Fred (Friedrich) and Augie (August) Duesenberg in 1913 in St. Paul, Minnesoty/USA. They first developed a 4.3 liter cylinder capacity motor and later a series of 8 cylinder motors. For the time, it achieved an impressive 90 HP with the 4.3 liter motor. From this point on, the vehicles were now Auburns, developed by Cord and Duesenberg together. The Duesenberg vehicles always had a high standing, as well as the highest price, in the Cord Company. Duesenberg automobiles were trendsetters, not only due to its reliability but also because of its technical solutions. Duesenberg enthusiasts were many and included kings, movie stars, industrialists, and even gangster bosses adorned themselves with these noble vehicles. The latter particularly enjoyed the high speeds above 200 km/h. The elegant car body was built by car body builders, saddlers and carpenter according to the customer s wishes. Duesenberg only delivered, as was common at that time, the motors and chassis. There are no two identical Duesenbergs, each vehicle
