1966 PONTIAC GTO HARDTOP COUPE FOR SALE - GLADSTONE, NJ In 1964, Pontiac introduced a high-performance option package for its handsome and very popular LeMans model. Demand for this package was huge and in 1966 the GTO was officially made a Pontiac model. The buying public loved it. Ours is a full body-off-chassis restoration (with full photo documentation) finished in Jamaican Yellow with black--as original--Cordova top and matching black bucket-seat interior. Fitted with, as the song says “3 deuces, a 4-speed and a 389,” the car is fabulous to drive. Additional to the optional Cordova top and 4-speed manual transmission, the car was ordered new with the options of a push-button AM radio, wire wheels discs, “Wonder-touch” power steering and “Soft Ray” tinted windshield. It still wears, as original, red-line G-70x14 red-line tires. The “Strato” bucket seats, deluxe steering wheel and dual exhaust were standard equipment. Documented by a copy of the Pontiac build card and option sheets as well as the photos of the body-off chassis restoration. Driven just 5,495 miles since restoration.
