Description
Finished in sporty red over black, this 76 Triumph Spitfire was the recipient of a stunning restoration in 2009. In order to restore it to its former glory, the previous owner embarked on a $30,000+ restoration, from rebuilding and upgrading the engine, to the flawless bodywork, all the way down to replacing all the glass. Highly original, the body has been sand blasted and refinished, and the original wood dash remains behind the new veneer. All the exterior chrome bits have been refinished in gloss black to compliment the fantastic red finish and hardtop. The interior features new vinyl seats and the stock sound system has been replaced by premium JL Audio speakers and Clarion audio receiver, also adding Bluetooth connectivity, CD player and USB/iPod integration. The dual-carb 1.4L engine runs beautifully and is accompanied by an appropriately vintage exhaust note. Restoration receipts, spare keys and 71-point inspection included with purchase. This Spitfire is arguably one of the finest in existence.
