Case: in 18 karat red gold, in 3 parts, polished and brushed finished; 35.9 x 8.4 mm (excl. lugs & crown); flat sapphire crystal; red gold crown with logo; case back attached by 6 screws, with sapphire crystal exhibition window, engraved "Hommage a Emil Lange 1849-1922". Water-resistant to 30 meters.
Dial: solid silver, black (obtained by a galvanizing process); applied star and round markers and Arabic numeral 12 in red gold; printed railway minute track; seven red gold hemispheres applied in the pattern of the constellation of the Great Bear (the Big Dipper); Alpha hands in red gold.
Indications: small seconds (with stopping device) at 4, moon phase at 8.
Strap: Lange black alligator; matching red gold buckle.
