Description
This is an original 18K solid gold watch that was given to Eugenio Castellotti for Christmas in 1956. The watch has a 38mm case with a cream face and the Prancing Horse at 6 o'clock. The back is engraved "Coppa della 1000 miglia", "FERRARI" and "Per Eugenio Castellotti, Maranello, 25 Dicembre 1956". The watch functions perfectly and has a Swiss Valjoux 23 movement. The inside case back is engraved 18K. Eugenio won the 1956 Mille Miglia driving Ferrari 290 MM Scaglietti s/n 0616. What an incredible piece of Ferrari and Mille Miglia history.
