Description

This special 38mm gold-plated chronograph with Swiss movement is a manual winding timepiece. It was made prior to the event for the Maserati team, who were supposed to race the Tipo 61 Birdcage, but never made it due to lack of funding. The case back is engraved with the event details, and the face has the Maserati logo. This race is now known as the Rally di San Remo. What a perfect period watch to wear in your vintage Maserati - Birdcage or other! Complete with letter from Sergio who received it from the head of Maserati. The watch is in 'as new' condition and functions perfectly.
