Setzer Design Group drew her to be fast for her type, agile, beautiful, comfortable and ever so endearing to anyone who experiences her. She is of classic design.

The white overhead, made of sheet plywood panels routed to resemble tongue-and-groove planking, reflects the ambient light, adding to the feeling of spaciousness in the main salon.

The dining table seats eight. Casual entertaining is easy thanks to the wide passageway into the pilothouse and the large portside pass-through bulkhead, which separates the galley and the salon. Pocket doors separating the galley and dining area can be closed, creating a more private atmosphere.

A spacious and comfortable double stateroom occupies the forward portion of the yacht. Bookshelves flank the carved mahogany headboard and allow for ample storage. The white overhead combined with large port lights and hatches provide generous amounts of natural light.

Acadia was designed with the main engines aft under the cockpit. This allows for excellent access to the engines with minimal disruption to living spaces when any routine or major maintenance is required.

The engines have been professionly maintained. Over 90 % of the time the engines have been operated at 70% or less power and at least 60% at 30% power.

The generating system is two 30 kw, each which allows either generator to carry the entire load of the yacht.

The house battery system is extremely high capacity which allows for shutting down the generator system at night when absolute quiet is desired. With the exception of air conditioning all shipboard systems operate as normal for at least 12 hours.

The bowthruster has it's own electrical system and is not dependent on theships systems for power.

The 3000 gallon fuel system is divided into 3 tanks, and do not require fuel transfer pumps for operation. Fuel level gages are located at the steering station and fuel sight gages are located on each tank.

Hull is 100 % SCRIMP glass which makes her both lighter and stronger than any production boat.
