Walk Through and Accommodations
KATHARINE was originally built as SEAHAWK, which was Trinity's Flagship yacht.Whenher current ownerpurchased the vessel,she went through an interior refit designed by Marie Meiko.It is evident that the owner has spared no expense to ensure that the vessel embodiestaste and refinement. Recent upgrades in Winter '06 include a complete new paint job, W4 on main engines,new generators,upgraded bow thruster, andimproved mast layoutfor better electronics reception.As you enter the vessel at the full-width main foyer, you will immediately note the Bottachino Fiorito and Breccia Grand Melanage marble with custom designed inlays.You are welcomed by a magnificent spiral staircasewith black wrought iron railings, garlanded with gold medallions and gold carpet rods.This continuous curving sweep stairway connects the main foyer to the lower deck accommodations and to the bridge deck. At this point, it is peaked with a gold leaf dome at the top of the stairway and showcases a custom-made fixture with European crystal sphere and 24k gold framing. Directly aft of the stairway is the dining salon with an elegant table of inlaid mahogany and gold trim, seating for12and awine cooler for elegantentertaining. The main salon is amply furnished with three large sofas, French antique chairs, a game table and two cocktail tables which offer many unique conversation and entertainment areas. The aft deck offers additional al fresco dining with a large oval table and seating for 12 guests.Forward and port of themain foyeris a crew-friendly commercial galley that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances.The galley also has a staircase leading down to the crew's quarters. Starboard of the galley is the day head and grand entrance hallway to the master stateroom.The entrance doors to the suite feature crotch mahogany inserts asyouenter a comfortably sized study with a beautifully inlaid desk. No detail has been overlooked in the full-beam, on-deck master suite.A beautiful soffitt crowns the ceiling. The wood species is makory and mahogany andis carried throughout the wood paneling and columns. Relaxation and entertainment is attainable as this suite is equipped with a flat screen TV that drops downs by remote and can be disguised as art work when not in use. The spacious master stateroom head exemplifies elegance: both his and hers sinks and faucets feature marble with custom design Verde Campon Rose, Jerusalem Pink Vede Giada and Verde Laguna Chiardo patterns.Located in the lower deck accommodations are five staterooms, which include a full-beam VIP suite aft which is entered through double doors flanked by columns of olive ash burn. There are two midship guest staterooms with king sized beds and two forward staterooms with twin sized beds.Sophistication and style has been achieved through subtle lighting, luxurious fabrics, and rich wood details.All staterooms allow the pursuit of distraction via satellite television and CD/stereo radio and feature en suite heads featuring marble and 24k gold plumbing fixtures. The VIP stateroom head in particular, features separate his and hers toilets, a curved glass shower flanked by matching vanity areas and floors and shower walls made of Bottachino Fiorito inlayed marble with Soladith details.Crew accommodations for eight are forward of the guest accommodations on the lower deck.The crew is able to accessguest accommodations through a crew hallway,which allows the crew easy access for prompt servicing to the lower deck accommodations.There is also an engineer's cabin aft of the engine room and the captain's stateroom is on the bridge deck,thereby providing accommodations forup to 12crew.Forward on the bridge deck features a large open pilothouse,rear with portside access to the captain's quarters.The pilothouse has an incredible array of electronics including a centerline captain's station aft of the settee.Aft of the pilothouse to the starboard side of the grand foyer is an enclosed day head.The impressive day headfeatures an intricate marble pattern made up of Bottacino, Notre Dame Sauvage, Rosa Damasco and the authentic semi-precious stone, Tiger Eye.The sink is hand cut crystal with frosted sapphire. Aft of that is a full-beam expansive sky lounge. There is a forward entertainment center, a large plasma screen that can be disguised by art work, an L-shaped bar that features Mille Fiori marble top with six barstools, a game table and a music and DVD library.Style meets comfort and sets the tone for an inviting location to entertain a wide range of preferences.The skylounge glass sliding doors lead you out to a spacious aft bridge deck. A comfortable seating area and soft tones set the perfect ambiance for al fresco dining. A curved stairway leads up to the fly bridge which opens up to an enormoussun deck.Perfect for outdoor leisure, forward on the sun deck is a mosaic-trimmed eight-person Jacuzzi which is under a dual retractable umbrella canopy and four chaise lounges for sunning.
